Dear Friends,

Greetings in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jesus said, “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" and further Jesus also instructed the Apostle Peter to "Feed My Sheep". So, the CHRIST CALVARY CHURCH wants to serve the community

by following in the footsteps of our Lord. When speaking of the church, theologians often use terms such as the visible and local church as opposed to the invisible and universal church. The visible and local

churches are, of course, the physical churches that we see around us and around the world, as well as the members of those churches. The invisible and universal church, however, refer to all believers everywhere and is one church, united in Christ and not many physical churches. Everyone

in the universal church is a true believer, it is our prayer that every member of our congregation should be a true believer and who is part of the universal church so that our world would become a much better place for all humanity.

WHO WE ARE

Christ Calvary Church adheres to Evangelical, Episcopal, Ecumenical, Charismatic, Pentecostal and Apostolic foundation. Built on the foundation and teachings of Jesus Christ and His early Apostles, and we subscribe to the Five Sola’s of the Reformation

1. Sola Scriptura (“Scripture alone”): The Bible alone is our Supreme authority.

2. Sola Fide (“faith alone”): We are saved through faith alone in Jesus Christ.

3. Sola Gratia (“grace alone”): We are saved by the grace of God alone.

4. Solus Christus (“Christ alone”): Jesus Christ alone is our Lord, Savior and King.

5. Soli Deo Gloria (“to the glory of God alone”): We live for the glory of God alone.

WHAT WE ARE

Christ Calvary Church is established to work with diverse family of healthy congregations and ministries, imparting the Good news of “The Kingdom of God" that changes lives and communities globally. The vision is to impart the Love of Jesus Christ to the Asian subcontinent by fulfilling what the Lord has commanded to the disciples in the Great commission with the Help of the Holy Spirit. Mathew: 28:18-20, Acts: 1:8.

a. Church Pioneering, Planting and Pastoring. Mathew 16:18,

b. To train families on short term Bible training and send them to the Church and give them the ongoing training.

c. Church Social Responsibility: Serving God and Serving Gods Creation. Matthew: 25:35,36,40. Isaiah: 1:17.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in one God who is self-existent, eternal and triune in person as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in Christ the center of salvation “Being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ through whom by faith we get access to this grace in which we stand” (Rom. 5:1f).
We believe in the Holy Bible the 39 Old and the 27 New Testament canonical books as the inspired Word of God and ultimate authority for faith and conduct.
We believe that humankind was originally created in the image of God have estranged and been alienated from God by the rebellion against God. Thus the whole creation come under the bondage of sin and evil force. Consequently, the entire universe is subjected to God’s wrath and condemnation of eternal death.
We believe that humankind can get access to the saving grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ who was both human and divine and be saved because of the atoning work of Christ done once and for all on the cross. (Jn. 3:16; Heb. 10: 10)
We believe in the Church, the community of believers and the followers of Jesus Christ as the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit illumines humankind through the Word of God and brings them to faith and sanctifies them for the ministry of reconciliation endowing them with a variety of spiritual gifts. (II Cor. 5: 17 - 20; I Cor. 12: 4 - 11)
We believe in the Sacraments of Baptism and Lord’s Supper as the means of grace by which we are regenerated and reunited together with Christ as one body respectively by the Spirit of God through His Word. (Rom. 6: 4; I Cor. 10:16f)
We believe in the person and the work of the Holy Spirit, and the need for the believer to be baptized with the power of the Holy Spirit, and in the Fruit of the Holy Spirit and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Ministry of the Word and Sacraments administered by called, well trained and ordained minister who also do the ministry of reconciliation, counseling, evangelism, social service and church administration. (I & II Tim. And Titus)
We believe in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ and meditation on the Word of God as the means to have communication with God.
We believe in worship of the Triune God, HE who is beyond time and space.
We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ who ascended into heaven after His resurrection from the dead. On the last day when Christ returns He will judge both the living and the dead and give eternal life to the faithful.
We believe in Evangelism through which Good News of Jesus Christ shall be disseminated to all humankind that people in every generation may be brought to faith and to the fold of the redeemed community - The Church, for faith comes by hearing (Rom. 10: 14f).
We believe in Christian family and community life of sharing and cooperation and caring for one another irrespective of church & denominations for the purpose of witnessing to the Gospel and maintaining peace and harmony in the society.
We believe in nation-building endeavors carried out by the Church in order to show the compassion of our lord Jesus Christ. Education, health care, care for orphans and widows, home for the aging and the helpless through various social development programs for the welfare of all people irrespective of sex, caste, creed, Language. Mathew: 25:35-46

1 Corinthians 1: 18 (AMP)
For the message of the cross is foolishness [absurd and illogical] to those who are perishing and spiritually dead [because they reject it], but to us who are being saved [by God’s grace] it is [the manifestation of] the power of God.

The cross is the symbol of resurrection rather than death. It exalts the resurrection of Jesus. One of the Biblical proof for Jesus resurrection was the 'empty tomb.' The St. Thomas Cross that does not have the effigy of Jesus is equal to the empty tomb and therefor glorifies the resurrection of Christ.

The shape of the Dove above the cross indicates the presence of the Holy Spirit- the third person in the Holy Trinity.

When he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you. John 16-13:
